Il Bed & Breakfast Mare e Sole Villa Urso is a B & B settled in a very modern residence by the sea of AVOLA (SR) at 5 “ minutes’ drive from NOTO. It is made up of a reception including a bar and 5 air conditioned chambers with a view over the sea or garden. The chambers are large, bright and comfortable, provided, with strong-box, TV and hair-drier. Close to them there is Tullio’s room , the B & B’s owner. The fixtures are in thermo-aluminium 68, with zinc plated false frame, shutters with double glass and thermo breaking proof and after English Fashion. Doors, wardrobes, bedside tables and beds are in solid wood and in cherry colour. Moreover the room have been supplied with fire retardant mattresses by Permaflex, bedspreads and curtains. Large and tasteful bathrooms in all rooms, guaranteed in the use of large amount of hot and cold water through a pattern of an independent waterworks typical of big Hotels; moreover there are many others comforts. The Villa is provided with a tank, a 100 thousands litres of water accumulator (100m3) supplying a MICROBIOLOGIC AL STERILIZATION PLANT to obtain depurated water within the piper of all the bathrooms and taps, in compliance with the law n.31 02.02.2001, according to the instructions 98-83 C.E pertinent to the quality of water for human use. The garden, surrounded by green grass, where the breakfast is served, is rich in typical local trees, such as lemon, orange, “mandorange “ trees, dwarf bananas, lebanese grapefruit trees and finally a green tea plant; from its leaves we extract a savoury, refreshing and sweet-smelling drink, so good for our visitors. The Villa has a direct access on the beach where is allowed using a beach-umbrella and a dech-chair. In our garden there are two independent dependences supplied with kitchen, bathroom, hair- drier, TV, air conditioner, strong-box and a private veranda. Within a radius of a few kilometres there is NOTO (Unesco Cultural Heritage) with its celebrated baroque and its beautiful and nobles palaces, PACHINO with well-known “ciliegino” tomato, SYRACUSE, Archimedes’s city with its eternal and magnificent cultural works such as the Greek theatre, the Dionysius’s Ear, the Catacombs, the Roman Amphitheatre and museum. Moreover there are TAORMINA, heart of the Sicilian culture, CATANIA, ETNA, MODICA, RAGUSA and the wild-life reserves of PANTALICA, VENDICARI and CAVA GRANDE DEL CASSIBILE with its famous lakes.
